Have you been sick for a long period of time? Has the doctor called the sickness terminal? .

Sickness is one of the top reasons why people get depressed and often lose faith. Why would a good God allow me to get sick? Will I get better? Can I get better? Has God betrayed me? Should I leave God? These are all legitimate questions, but the only answer you should hold on to is “Trust that God is forever good. He plans ONLY good for His children. ”

Do not be discouraged. God uses everything to bring Himself glory. If glory will come to Him, note that He is willing (and able) to do the impossible. We do not see the big picture as He does. So we don’t know why He allows certain things to come our way.

But if you can trust in Him and His goodness, your perspective will give you strength and hope. He will refine you, either for life in heaven or here on earth or both. Everything will be fine. I promise this: if you hold on to God’s truth, your mind and spirit will be healthy. It may take you a while and lots of struggle to get there. But God will give you peace. .
