As you already know, Saturdays are all about relationships for me. God is all about relationships. His top commandments (if the rest can be forgotten) are:
1. Love God with all your heart and soul and strength
2. Love your neighbor (after 3. Loving YOURSELF)

This speaks of a relationship with God, yourself and your neighbor. .

Love is often misunderstood. Husbands whose wives get upset with them when they are wrong think their wives are disrespectful and unloving. Wives whose husbands refuse to buy them the latest Prada bags think they are hated. Children who are scolded by their parents when they don’t do well scream “YOU HATE ME!” .

Yet, love without rebuke is not love at all. There is no truth in refusing to correct a person. Hebrews 12:6 and Proverbs 3:12. So, if you are in a real relationship with a person or God, expect to be angry, to misunderstand, to be rebuked or corrected, and to do the same. There is love in protecting a person from a future calamity through rebukes. .
